Saturday Stash – 1st November 2014

This particular stash was a long time coming…. I had been eyeing over Katarina Roccella’s new line, Indelible, since it was released! The layers of texture and grunge completely spoke louder to me than any girly fabric ever did. Finally I found a fat quarter bundle on sale through Stash Fabrics – at 20% off, with a bonus 10% off coupon. It made it worth paying the ridiculous shipping from the US worthwhile. I am happy to report that it arrived safe and sound in under 2 weeks.

I’m not sure if it’s the graphic nature, or the amazing prints that look like engineering drawings, so much like the ones I grew up surrounded by. I love the mix of shapes, text, and the cute animals scattered through the collection. All I know is that this is one fabric range that I had to have, and I will be making something to keep from it!

Of course, I had to fill the shipping envelope up, didn’t I? I found this amazing Tula Pink Acacia yardage on special in their store, and took a guess that it would go with the teal in Indelible. Of course, if it didn’t, what did I have to lose, it was Tula, right?

Go with it? It looks like it was made together! So glad I got a couple of yards worth. Now I just need to pick the perfect pattern for this amazing pairing. I’m thinking something from Beyond Neutral will fit the bill beautifully!

What would you make with this bundle? Shout it out in the comments!
