Need a gift in a hurry?

Might I suggest The Curvy Clutch? A free pattern from Pink Door Fabrics, available through their site, HERE. Never sewn a zipper before? That’s ok, they have an excellent step by step tutorial on their blog.

Here’s one I whipped up to gift with my travel sock knitting from our road trip.

Curvy Clutch

I used a gorgeous peachy oriental fat quarter I picked up from my local quilt shop, paired with some Lizzie House “1001 Peeps”, and the most perfect pale peachy double ruffled ribbon.

This is THE perfect pattern for using up those small bits of trim that are too short to use on clothing, but are just too cute not to keep!

I promise my top stitching really is straight, this is a project that photographs best when full…. of socks!

My signature light print inside, because what use is a pouch that is a blackhole?

Hand Knitted Socks

Finally, a pair of comfy knitted bedsocks for warding off the winter chill. Now all I need to do is wrap it all up and gift it to her on the weekend!

What’s your go-to gift? Do you have something perfect for those last minute emergencies?
