Day off!!

It’s my only day off today, so I’m madly catching up on washing, and maybe some housework too! Here’s a fast forward re-cap.

Sam lost another tooth last night. The amazing part is that it took so long, this tooth was almost horizontal for the whole weekend. Gross.

He’s also grown a bit, enough to finally fit in to some of Tyson’s old clothes I’ve been stockpiling for years. They are miles apart in their sizes, and it’s just getting further, as Tyson’s size 10’s are starting to “just” get a little bit “well-fitted”. You know well-fitted? The perfect length that strikes fear into your heart because you know that soon they will be too small…. He’s bursting out of his coats as well, have to do some shopping for him, soon.

Work continues to be work. I can’t believe that it’s been almost a year (next week!) since I started. Wow. I feel like I just haven’t stopped running that whole time…

I got my article finished and sent off, hope to hear from the editor soon about it…. but I suppose no news is also good news.

School went back yesterday, to some new changes. Tyson’s teacher had all of last term off, and is back, ready to go! Sammy’s teacher is having the first 4 weeks of this term off as she is travelling overseas. Lucky girl! He’s missing her already, although he does like the male relief teacher they have in the meantime.

*skip* took pity on me over the weekend, I totally snapped on Saturday before lunchtime even, and so he packed me and the kids off and we ended up wandering through the Botanic Gardens in the city…. even on a cold, sunny, winter’s day, there’s always something to see. We played duelling camera’s, it was so much fun to see the different things that we found interesting when we were downloading and editing the photos. All shot in raw, to try out Aperture. He wants to buy me Aperture, or Lightroom, so we’re trying the 30 day trial of each to see which runs better. So far, I’m not impressed by Aperture. The first couple of hours using it, it crashed twice. Not a good start.

I did manage to edit this picture though, and then, of course, scrap with it!

You are such a busy girl … love this photo, the way it takes centre-stage on the page, the lil bit of tape, way cool! πŸ™‚

    Love that LO… Gorgeous photo!

I’m SO with you on that well-fitted thing with clothes. It seems my oldest daughter is only in that stage for about a week, and then her legs have to grow about two more inches… lol!
