May he rest in peace…

My father, Jack, passed away not quite 2 weeks ago. We have been busy with family matters, helping arrange his funeral and all the million and one details that need to be cared for. I am glad that he is no longer struggling and in pain, but for me, the pain is only just beginning. I will miss him every day.

It seems like it’s just one thing after another around here…. it’s been a very hard 12 months. I’m not sure how I’ll manage without my beloved Dad, but I guess I will find out. *skip* and the boys are just as devastated. He was a very special man, and not one that will ever be replaced. A fabulous quote from their neighbour that my sister used in her Eulogy, “We are all born copies, but die an original.” And original is what my Dad was.

Here’s a few layouts featuring him, some of which I had the honour of having published in Scrapbooking Magazines… far from being excited, poor Jack was embarassed by it. But they are treasures to me now.

There’s nothing really left to say after all those!Happy Crafting - Cassie.

    I am so sorry for your pain, and it’s such an awful feeling knowing that this is it. But your beautiful pages with your father in them, showing him as the man, the husband, the father, the grandfather, will ensure he lives on for future generations. You keep scrapping his stories so they are not lost. {{{{{{hugs}}}}}}
