Last week I shared with you the pincushion and goodies that I sent to Helen, however today I would love to show you the amazingly sweet parcel that I got from Nadine, who stalked me so very well!
So many handmade and personal touches, from the wrapping paper down to the cup cozy! And owls, owls and more owls!! I love them all!
A quilted pot holder, a crochet cozy with owl button, a pair of owl scissors, a beautiful little Tula Pink pouch, an owl pincushion with matching fabric tray, made out of more owl fabric.
Finally, the ultimate in hand stitched goodness… a little embroidered toadstool house. I saw this being made on Instagram and really hoped that it might be mine. I was so happy when I opened it up! Thankyou Nadine!!
In the interests of full disclosure, there *may* have been a couple of chocolates in this parcel which arrived on a bad day. It might be possible that the chocolates didn’t survive as long as the unwrapping process. But I’m not admitting anything!
So, my last swap for a while was a raging success. I’m sad that it’s over, but happy because it means that I can spend some time focussed on some long overdue sewing projects.
Are you a swap addict? Do you find yourself putting so much effort into your swaps that you don’t have any sewing time left?
