You have previously met this quilt as the March Simply Retro challenge quilt, and I shared some not very marvellous shots of it a couple of months ago. However I had a little trip to Victoria this past weekend, and this quilt hitch-hiked along with me for a photo shoot opportunity amongst some amazing scenery. Pattern is Sweet Life by Camille Roskelley, Fabric is Full Moon Lagoon designed by Mo Bedell.
A few locations were chosen for some photographs….. all of them were fabulous. Julie is the best tour guide, and knows her countryside well.
Perfect slightly overcast weather, and the greens just set off the vibrant pink and peach colours in a really special way.
Densely custom quilted with feathers, flowers and pebbles, measuring approximately 52″ square, this quilt has already been reserved by a purchaser. However, I would be more than happy to make a similar one by commission. Simply contact me to discuss your requirements!

Fabulous photo shoot. You’re right the lush greens just make it sing. Love it!

Thanks Angie!! I found it was so much easier doing the shoot with other quilty people, I won’t be so shy about my photos next time!

Cassandra
