Easy gift box idea

Don’t you just love presents in gift boxes? Especially if your wrapping skills are anything like mine! There’s just something about a box that screams deluxe, thoughtful, attention to detail.

Now I’m all for make it yourself, however, sometimes there’s a little tool that can help you along the way.

Envelope Punch BoardEnter the We R Memory keepers Envelope Punch Board. I picked mine up from Spotlight on sale, and it is a fabulous little tool. They make a whole range of different style boards, but this one is the most versatile.

Every one of them, including the bows, whipped up in a few minutes using this punch board.

Using my paper trimmer, I get minimal wastage from a 12″ scrapbooking sheet. I keep the offcuts as the perfect size strips for gift tags, bows, or bands to wrap around the boxes.

Only a couple of minutes of punching and scoring, using the Box Buster program measurements.

Edited-2140A few strips of double sided tape, or even a line of glue stick along the flaps. Putting the book inside for this stage helps keep everything square.

Trim and glue some simple strips to decorate the outside, and you are finished!
