Don’t you just love presents in gift boxes? Especially if your wrapping skills are anything like mine! There’s just something about a box that screams deluxe, thoughtful, attention to detail.
Now I’m all for make it yourself, however, sometimes there’s a little tool that can help you along the way.
Enter the We R Memory keepers Envelope Punch Board. I picked mine up from Spotlight on sale, and it is a fabulous little tool. They make a whole range of different style boards, but this one is the most versatile.
You may have noticed my boxes for my bespoke gift vintage book journals?
Every one of them, including the bows, whipped up in a few minutes using this punch board.

Only a couple of minutes of punching and scoring, using the Box Buster program measurements.
A few strips of double sided tape, or even a line of glue stick along the flaps. Putting the book inside for this stage helps keep everything square.
Trim and glue some simple strips to decorate the outside, and you are finished!
If you search for them, particularly on youtube, there are hundreds of tutorials available, especially as this punch board is also sold by Stampin’ Up. Here are some of the tutorials that I used….
