Time to update you for the last two months of the #quiltysistersinstabee and what has been posted off into the blue for November and December!
I sent this foxy little gift off to Kelly over in Victoria….
Including her Bluebells’ Cabin Modern Bee block, with grey and a very specific colour scheme.
Of course, I included some chocolate, and her vintage journal. I used a cute little woodland fox scrapbooking paper in the the endpages of this one, picked out especially for Kelly.
I also sent a parcel of treasures winging it’s way off to Jade in Canada.
Including all the important items, tim-tams, Cadbury chocolate, some Australian stamps… and a fabulous vintage book all boxed up and monogrammed.
Jade’s gorgeous Triple Star bock in Kona Black and Kona White, and Cotton Couture Magenta. I had enough pieces of black and magenta to make a reverse block also, but ran short on the white, so I included the squares for her to finish off.
All bundled up in an adorable zipper pouch featuring more of the same Cotton Couture, mixed with Australian wildflowers and Terra Australis kangaroos. If you look closely, there’s a teeny bit of Tula Pink scribbles hiding in the ends of the zippers.
I lined it with this nice linen look flower print because I’m a huge believer in putting light coloured prints inside bags and pouches. It makes it so much easier to find things.
There are more books, blocks and treasure on the way, simply put on hold while I have packed my entire studio into boxes. I’m so excited to set it up and start sewing at the new house! There may even be a new sewing addition to the family in the works!
