I’m so happy to announce the winner of my giveaway from last week, Victoria! She’s very excited that Christina Cameli’s book, “First Steps to Free Motion Quilting” is already ordered and will be shortly in her happy quilting hands.

Thankyou so much to all who entered my little giveaway. It is great to see so many people who are enthusiastic about learning to quilt. I will definitely be offering more tips and some tutorials on free-motion quilting over the coming weeks. There will also be a beautiful printable exclusively for newsletter subscribers heading out at the start of next month. Are you signed up?

For my next giveaway, what would you like to see? A book, a class, something handmade? Shout out your ideas!

Happy Crafting - Cassie.

    Hello,
a book, or a class from on paper piecing from Penny ….would be terrific. Paper piecing these small Patterns is a real challenge, help would be very much appreciated!
    Thanks a lot…

Thanks for the suggestion Karine. I am actually just trying my first ever tiny paper pieced project, and I think there is definitely room for some improvement! Can I just double check you mean Penny Layman, who has just released “The Paper-Pieced Home” book?

Karine, I just had an idea. Do you get the “Love Patchwork & Quilting” magazines from the UK at all? Issue 19, which is a couple of issues old now, had a free booklet with some cute retro paper piecing patterns from Sew Ichigo, which is Penny and Kerry’s pattern blog/company. It includes patterns and some piecing instructions/hints. If you purchase the digital version (I have a zinio subscription) you still get this fabulous little mini-book. Might be worth picking up a copy 🙂
