May has come and gone in a whirl and so now I can share with you the blocks I made for my May partner, Lynda. She requested the same block as my choice, the Trellis Crossroads, only in bright and happy fabrics with a low volume background.
I had so much fun going through my stash and auditioning all these fabrics, asking the family if they were bright and happy enough. They thought that I was losing the plot!! But the finished blocks are just fabulous, if I do say so myself *wink wink* Yes, I said blocks, although the bee only requires one. I had so much fun cutting and arranging, before I knew it, there was a second block too!
And of course, I have to include my May block, as well as goodies, received from the lovely Katherine…
An luscious purple block, all wrapped up in paper and with a beautiful matching card. AND she included enough cut pieces for me to make a lovely lemony yellow block as well. What an amazing journey this Instabee is turning out to be! You can check out the previous months posts on March and April if you missed them, as well as our fabulous Instabee Meetup last month.

Hi Debbie 🙂 The Trellis Crossroads block is from the Modern Bee book, by Lindsay Conner. It is still available through Amazon if you are looking for a copy.
